    Grimm Indeed

    Fossegrim and the Halfdan Svarte denim jacket are by far the highest quality merch I have purchased in a long time. So many companies/bands use cheap shitty quality materials as a canvas for their cause (obviously to maximize profits). Norwegian Rat is a reminder that it is only in modernity that art has been seen as a profession for generating money(which in my opinion attracts a lot of dispassionate, lazy, entitled types into the fold, and floods the space with products masquerading as art to be consumed and thrown out. I will cherish my Norwegian Rat wears forever). These guys work day jobs simply so they can make these wears on their own terms without compromising quality or their own values in the process, and I respect the hell out of that from one artist to another. Buy there stuff, they do this as a labor of love, and they fill a necessary hole in this space.

    Lastly, I would love to see them continue this idea of making shirts based on  myths with musical elements from Nordic lore. I would also love the shit out of some plain Norwegian Rat denim jeans if they felt so inclined to make them one day. 🍻
