(Once again we ) Congratulate to Ravnguden! And thanx a lot to the rest of you for participating!
Congrats to Ravnguden! =)
It's on! Right click and download if you want the picture, or open in a new tab here!
We got a few samples we really haven't got use for, as we are done with them. Now we really just need to know if you like them or not. So if we got your size and you're feeling lucky, you know what to do. All you need to do is to post the picture on your instagram, facebook or twitter account to spread the word of Norwegian Rat Clothing, and you are in. (You'll find the contest post on our Instagram and Facebook profile) Remember to give us a heads-up so we know that you have entered. Oh! And let us know what size you are! Rock and rollon! (You can read about the first edition of the 1349 here: 1349 Jeans)
Congrats to the winners! If you want to practice for the 2018 edition, you can download the contest here: Norwegian Rat's Easter Puzzle 2017
Here we go again! This time you're able to win our Naglfar denim jacket. Good luck! Download image
Kampfar is nominated for the best metal album in 2015 by the Norwegian Grammy awards! On this occasion we have decided to throw a straightforward contest where you can win a Kampfar hoodie, which we made for them as a collaboration project. The hoodie is available in both men and ladies sizes. All you have to do to participate is to follow us and share the picture below on Instagram. The picture is also available on our profile (@norwegianrat). Remember to tag us so we know that you have joined! We'll pick the lucky winner February the 1st.

Welcome to the twisted part of our ongoing contest over at instagram! Instead of just picking a lucky winner every time we run a contest, we figured out we could add an element of history to it. Here's how it works:
Follow us on instagram and share this picture. You can download it here or find it on our Instagram profile. When you have done that you move on to the steps below.
The zip file you can download by clicking here contains a text file with a question and zip files which is password protected. In order to get to the new questions, you will need to find the respective password for the next file etc. The password is always one word, and with no capital letters.
You will be told what to do if you ever reach the end of it. The winner of the "twisted part" will get their hands on a tote bag and a t-shirt of their choice in our store. (Kampfar and Einherjer included). Wish you all a nice weekend, and good luck to those of you who decide to take on this!

Approximately 12 hours passed by before someone nailed this one..! Oh well, next time we are going to make it longer (and harder)! None the less! Congratulations, Jarle! Excellent job!
@sorgenatt became the lucky winner of the share and re-gram part of the contest. Congratulations!
This one is pretty straight forward! Just read the guidelines in the picture. Good luck!
This is the picture you had to share You can find it on our Instagram profile here: instagram.com/norwegianrat (@norwegianrat)
No one has yet managed to pinpoint the tune we used in our video during the announcment of the winner in our "Share and Like"-competition on Facebook. The consolation prize contest is therefore still open and waiting for a winner!
Should you be the one to recognize the tune, we will honor you with a Norwegian Rat tee! Happy hunting!
And the consolation prize goes to Therese! The tune we used was from the Amiga game HEIMDALL from 1992! Well done!
An important part of the Norwegian Rat concept is to make our customers aware of major events in Norwegian history. That is why all the clothes we make are identified by either a name or a year that represents something from our history. Our jeans will have a number corresponding to a year in history of importance, and other clothes will bear names of a historic person or event.
Now we wish to invite you to help us name our next hoodie!
We really only have two criteria: The name must connect to a historic event or person from Norway’s history or folklore. It can also come from Norse mythology, or something else you might find important from Norway’s heritage.
Send in your suggestions via our facebook page, or through our contact form here on our website. The best suggestion will be awarded with a skakke hoodie and a shopping net. If the name is used on our next hoodie model, the winner will have the honour of being the first to wear the garment when it is made!
The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve, so sharpen your pencil, dust of your history book(s), and give us your suggestions!
Since Norwegian Rat focuses heavily on fronting Norwegian culture, we have, in our first proper competition, chosen to hide something on our website which has a great meaning to Norwegian history and heritage.
Your task will be to search the site, find this hidden thing, tell us what it is, whose it is, and the name on the piece or pieces.
The first one to find the right answer, will be the lucky recipient to either a pair of 1349 jeans, a Skakke hoodie, or 4 t-shirts (if several are working together). Whichever you chose, you’ll also get the brilliant shopping net as well!
Break a rat!
Answer: The painting "Leiv Eiriksson discovers America" (1893) by the norwegian artist Christian Krohg (1852 – 1925)
Send us a picture of you, or anyone you know, with a product from Norwegian Rat and you’ll find yourself in a position to win a Skakke Hoodie on the 10'th of December, 2013. Your snapshot can be sent to webmaster from the contact page. (Images can't be bigger than 2mb)
Congratulations to Eline Mæland! Thanks to all of you who contributed and made it a cool competition! See you in round two!
