Official Darkthrone denim jacket, approved by DT themselves. First round sold out pretty fast, but apparently there's a demand for more, so we've decided to include Darkthrone once more for the upcoming round!

100% thick black denim jacket with rat buttons. Equipped with 8 pockets (and thus able to conceal 10 cans of your favourite beverage). Two of them with coarse zippers on the inside.

So...It seems like the order crashed right into the holidays at our factory....They will return the 28'th of August, so we will open up the pre-orders again to this date.

Pre orders have closed. We will hand in the order when we have gotten all the sizes for bands/crew and other collab partners.

We have now entered "official pre order". Pre order will close Monday 05.08 at 21.00 Norwegian time.

If you want to make sure you don't miss out on this jacket we have opened up for pre-orders. When we have all the bands for the upcoming band collaboration round ready, there will be a 2 weeks "official" pre-order run. This info will be added here and shared on social medias etc. After deadline we wil hand in the order to our factory, and then they will need aprx 15 weeks to make the jackets. Should you somehow regret your order, a refund is of course accepted, no questions asked. This is your right as a customer. Feel free to send us a message if anything should be unclear.

HALVDAN SVARTE (ca 810 - 860 A.D)

Halvdan Svarte (Halfdanr Svarti, Halfdan the Black) was king of Vestfold county and is first and foremost known as the father of Harald Haarfagre (Harald Fairhar). It needs to be said that the reliability of this kinship is somewhat uncertain. Nonetheless Harald Haarfagre is named "The son of Halvdan" in a sentence in "Haraldskvæði". Despite that, Halvdan was a common name back then, and there are no reliable sources stating that they were actually father and son, though there is a possibility that they actually were. (You can read more about Halvdan and his family on Wikipedia.)

However, regarding the demise of Halvdan, all sources are in agreement; That he on his way home from Hadeland drowned in the lake Randsfjorden when his horse and sleigh broke through the ice. According to legend, the districts of his kingdom all wanted to claim his grave, but as they never came to an agreement, they decided to divide his body into four pieces. This way each district could bury a part of their beloved king. Supposedly his head lies in Halvdanshaugen (the mound of Halvdan) at Stein in Ringerike. Some say that Svarte was worshipped as a god of growth among the farmers in these areas.

He got his nickname “Svarte” because of his black hair.

High quality jacket that’s bad ass

This jacket is great, it looks awesome, is made from quality denim and says Darkthrone on it. What more could you want?

Completely sick! m/

The quality is amazing, truly: thick & rich denim, impeccable stitching, thoughtful pockets (incl. two zippered interior ones), detailed embroidery, and a good cut.

Be sure to read the size chart and take measurements of yourself. I’m glad I did: I normally wear a size L and the measurement said the XL was my size and it was right. The XL fits the way I like my battle jackets to fit.

Fenriz himself would be proud of you for wearing this. You don’t want to disappoint Fenriz do you? Order it today, metalheads!

Extremely impressed

I was skeptical to purchase this at first because $193 USD is a ton of money, but rest assured it is more than worth the purchase. The denim is extremely thick and comfortable, the jacket is pretty roomy, the pockets in the inside are really appreciated (especially the two that have zippers). The buttons are really durable and have a cool rat design on every one. This may be one of the nicest jackets I own now. The Darkthrone designs on the front and back of the jacket are really well done and make the black of the denim really pop. If you don’t have this jacket yet - what the hell are you even waiting for?

Ridiculous quality

I recieved my jacket today, and after just wearing it once i can already tell this will be my #1 most worn piece this year. Fantastic detail work and the fit is great. I usually wear medium and it fit me perfectly so sizing was accurate too.

malevolent masterpiece

the only way you know how amazing this is gonna be is if you already have one, or have borrowed one from a friend…

exceptionally well made with an insane eye for detail
the double button cuff has a rat paw rivet on it
all buttons (including spares) have the rat logo embossed
there’s embroidery where you don’t expect it (norwegian rat on the right sleeve, halvdan svarte between buttons)
the darkthrone embroidery on the left chest is incredible, the back just unhinged…
there’s a print on the inside back that only you know is there, but you KNOW it’s there!
there’s 8 pockets all told, the inside ones are zipped to match the buttoned and roomy to match the pockets
it’s incredibly well made, and they’ve used a proper, heavy denim.

do you need this? it’s more “do you need any other jacket?”
